This Privacy Policy explains how 4ort.ai ("we", "our", "the platform") collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (or OAuth tokens if you sign in via Google).

Conversations: Your chat messages, AI responses, and uploaded files are stored on our servers to provide the service and maintain your conversation history.

Usage Data: We may collect basic usage information such as login times and feature usage to improve the platform.

2. Third-Party AI Providers

4ort.ai connects to multiple AI providers to process your requests. Each provider has its own data handling practices:

OpenAI, Anthropic, Google: Your prompts are sent to these providers to generate responses. Refer to their respective privacy policies for how they handle data.
OpenRouter Free Models: When using free-tier models through OpenRouter (marked with ":free"), your prompts and AI responses may be used by the model providers for training and improvement purposes. If you are concerned about data privacy, use paid models instead.

3. Connected Services

When you connect third-party accounts (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Google Search Console), we access those services on your behalf using OAuth tokens. We store your OAuth tokens securely to maintain the connection. You can revoke access at any time through the respective service's account settings.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on our servers. Conversations, files, and account data are stored in our database. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is shared only with:

AI providers as necessary to process your requests (see Section 2)
Connected services you explicitly authorize (see Section 3)

6. Data Retention

Your conversations and account data are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual conversations at any time. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your stored data
Delete your conversations
Request account deletion
Revoke third-party service connections

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
